I know i'm posted about this before, but last time it was just about MK, i watched it again the other day, and seriously in love. Ohh Ben Kingsley, ohh the 90s Rap/Hip Hop, oh the way he sells pot (see above), oh the sneaky little odd bits in the movie aka when he dances down the street and the pavement lights up and when he's moving through town with mr middle finger pointed at all in super speedy motion. For reals shorty, check this shit! And to the trillion billion good quotes...
About this picture, the main two things are the wonderful feathers and that should pad, i want one on my own jacket, asap. I was reminded about them previously in this book about the underground culture in the 80s and then again today. They are wonderful, i think it's good to have them exposed, plus, tassles rule. I like the collar too, and the belt buckle. There's just so much good in it. (Photo: Hedi Slimane)
The strong silhouette is here again and i lust after it, also really liking the corsetted tops with the boning and the model's orange, curly hair... yes please. This is Baldovino Barani again, i told you i'd post more, i think he's so fantastic, again...

God Emma Watson is a stunner, word on the street is she might be stopping short her acting career.. and what it seems, going into fashion? I really really love the skirts in this shoot, that they really exaggerate the silhouette, lovely! For Teen Vogue, found on tfs.

One of my most favourite editorials ever. From Oyster, the most recent one, whatever month that is... the photographer is Baldovino Barani and this is definitely not the last work of his i'll post, it's phenomenal.
But the lighting in this and the contrast and the clothes, oh god the clothes, that corset with the tutu, his ruffle shirt, the models, everything honestly i stared at for hours. Go to the website, or better yet, buy oyster, it rules.
my insides leak out nostrils and go pouring down the road. if it's badness coming out perhaps why must it feel so bad. half of my heart lies in this tissue, soggy, wet, weak. or it's half of my liver. my eyes are weepy, weary, lid droops, crusts shut, peeled open- repeat. And repeat. and repeat. repeat. Reap it. the reaper confined to bedclothes, he came too close and i sneezed. phlegm and mucus in the bin in the stomach in the towel in the shower in the hand. i like repeating, its easy in such state. oink oink.
Images from spanishmossvintage.com.. which is a quite fine online vintage shop. I absoloutely adore the 3rd image.
I just rented out Degrassi Junior High and the disc is fucked. So pissed.

Sometimes I think I was born backwards, you know, come out my mum the wrong way. I hear words come pass me backwards. The people I should love, I hate. And the people I hate...
She's a classic. Skins is classic. And Effy's fashion is brilliant.
"I don't try" (and yet still look smoking) if only it were this easy for all of us. And it weren't such a big deal if our knickers were showing. God want to watch again but i think Charmed is well overdue ;)

Shots by Bruno Dayan. They styling is utterly beautiful. I really want a feather jacket, or something. And the corsets! Wow. Look it up, it's all incredible stuff, most notably the series which includes the first 3 pictures. It's just so romantic and sensual and feminine and lovely.
This shit is amazing. He's fucking rad. And it's so fun and colourful and futuristic. Just playful. Check more out at http://www.waltervanbeirendonck.com/ unfortunately i can't get pictures from his website- damn it! You'll enjoy it.
And yes, i'm going on a cleaning frenzy. The kitchen is finally clean (living with 7 others it's hard to keep it all tidy all the time) but my bedroom will be more of an issue. Pretty sure my entire closet is on my floor... yikes
But books are my love. I've got so many to read at the moment-
America- Franz Kafka
The Dharma Bums- Jack Keroac
Nova Express- William S. Burroughs
The Soft Machine- William S. Burroughs
Three Novels (Molloy, Malone Dies, The Unnamable)- Samuel Beckett
I Celebrate Myself (The somewhat private life of Allen Ginsberg)- Bill Morgan
Valis- Philip K. Dick
The Stand- Stephen King
Eyeless in Gaza- Aldous Huxley.
Fuck, long list (i also have more i haven't read but this is where i need to go first...)
Lucky i'm on holidays at the moment i guess. If you add in Chuck Palahniuk and Luke Rhinehardt theses are basically by favourite authors... give or take.
